Do you like to go and browse the aisles of many different stores without having to go too far? If you do, then you might find interesting that Bratislava has several shopping malls with a lot of stores and services waiting for you! All of them offer a wide range of shops which are open from early morning to late evening. 24/7. Fashion, sport, jewelries, interior accessories, electronics, cafes, restaurants, supermarkets, cinemas, the most various services… everything under one roof. Actually under several roofs in our capital. Here is a list of Bratislava’s premier shopping centers:
AUPARK
Aupark shopping center is one of our favorite malls. It is easily accessible – just two bus stops from the city center (Zochova bus stop), on the other side of Danube. You can also walk there through the UFO bridge – this walk would take you around 15 minutes. It has around 240 different shops spread on 2 floors. Over 25 restaurants, cafes, pubs and fast food outlets offer a wide variety of options for different tastes. Its advantage is the huge park right next to it – Garden of Janko Kral – with a big playground for kids. You can walk through it to the Tyrsovo nabrezie in like 5 minutes.

EUROVEA
One of the most visited shopping centers in Bratislava, full of lounge bars with river views outside. Green promenade one kilometre long enables visitors to access the Danube river foreshoreway which lives until late night and makes Eurovea a real hotspot. Not only shops, there are offices, residencies, leisure and relax components and a 5 star Sheraton hotel as well. It was designed in a way to become the new commercial heart of the city and acts as a social point in the centre of Bratislava.

CENTRAL
The „shopping heart of Bratislava“ – one of the newer malls with around 150 shops which include some brands you can’t find in other shopping centers. The mall is built at one of the busiest traffic spots of Bratislava so you need to use public transport to get there. There is a cool area on its roof with grass and kids playground. We would also recommend to visit the Hotel Lindner which is right next to it – especially its Outlook Bar & Lounge on the 13th floor – in addition to culinary specialties and delicious snacks you can enjoy great views of the city and Bratislava castle as well.
ADDRESS: Metodova 6
HOW TO GET THERE: You need to use the public transport system and get off at „Trnavské mýto“ stop. The journey should take you around 10 minutes from the center

VIVO
An older shopping mall with around 170 shops of different kinds. VIVO, previously known as Polus City Center, was actually the first shopping center of its type in Slovakia. It is great for those who live close by but if you want a place closer to the center, there are better options. One of the „sexy“ features nearby, and maybe a reason of some people to come here rather than to other places, is the Kuchajda lake a few minutes walk from here. So you can come for a nice walk, do some sport, sunbathe or just sit and enjoy the view. You will meet here a lot of people and families, especially in summer.
